A quick Jaylen Brown drive to the basket and a combination of excellent defence on Kyrie and KD and excellent court vision from Marcus Smart to find Tatum for the winning layup earned them a hard-fought 115-114 walk-off win
The Nets will have felt a little disappointed to have let the win slip through their hands. Kyrie put up an attacking clinic with a game-high 39 points, 18 of them in the 4th. Kevin Durant didn’t have the best of games however finishing with just 23 points on a poor 9/24 shooting. We can expect him to come out firing in game 2
Having earned the close win, the Celtics will be motivated to come out and protect the home court again in game 2. They will certainly make things a bit more difficult for Kyrie this time and we are backing them to pick up another win here
