Miami Heat vs Boston Celtics 30.05.2022
Lebron James once called these two greatest words in sports: “Game 7.” And game 7 it is as we finally try to separate the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals best of 7 series
After stinking up the joint with lacklustre performances in games 4 and 5, Miami came out of the gates firing in game 6 at the TD Gardens (Boston) led by their superstar Jimmy Butler. They went toe-to-toe with their hosts and had just about enough gas left in the tank, in the end, to win it 109-103 and force this game 7 back in Miami. Butler ended up putting up the greatest individual performances of these playoffs, finishing with 47 points
Boston were heavily favored to get the job done in that game 6 but like has happened a lot of times already, they just couldn’t protect home court here. Jayson Tatum and Jalen Brown were completely neutralized in the 4th quarter by the Miami defence who threw the kitchen sink at them and dared everyone else to beat them. Ime Udoka will certainly make adjustments to that effect for this game 7.
With everything on the line here, we expect a tense and closely fought game here. Defence has been the modus operandi for both of these teams and we expect that to be the central theme in the game. The game is likely to be closely called too which will most likely result in a huge amount of personal fouls both ways
Tip: Total Fouls Over 46.5
