They have a short turnaround though with the Lakers coming to town for game 1 in quick succession. They have homecourt this time and will try to make the most of the opening two home games.
The Lakers came out guns firing in game 1 against Memphis and will be looking to replicate that performance here. Stealing homecourt helped them close out the Grizzlies in 6 games. Key to their success was multiple contributions from their role players like Austin Reeves and Rui Hachimura as well as D’Angelo For this series though, they will need Anthony Davis and Lebron James to impose their will early.
