Italy’s Trevisan bettered her incredible quarterfinal run of 2020 after defeating US Open finalist Leylah Fernandez. Trevisan can defend very well and is also serving well. She is a left-hander and could use her odd angle to her advantage. However, the manner in which Gauff has played, without any apparent weakness, she should be able to brush aside Trevisan as the occasion might turn out to be too big for the Italian.
